Introducing Kay McKenzie
With a wealth of farming experience Kay, from a Danish decent, has a diverse range of knowledge within the agricultural sector, raised on a commercial piggery in the Bay of Plenty. From pig farming to Kiwifruit Orcharding, with Dairy experience and Sheep and Beef Farming for the last 25 years, predominantly in the Gisborne region. In 2015 Kay and her family moved to the Tararua region and farmed 1760 acres in the Weber District of Dannevirke. Kay is a keen sport horse breeder, supporting her daughter’s passion in equestrian activities, running and gardening.
Being a great communicator having worked as a Social Worker for CYPFS in Gisborne prior to raising her three children, with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Social Policy, Kay offers her skills in sales, social work and farming to her role as a rural salesperson for Professionals, covering Central Hawkes Bay and the Tararua area. She is passionate about all things farming and is concentrating on lifestyle and rural properties where her experience lies.
